RN Purchase Home Care Coordinator
The Purchased Home Care Program Coordinator for the Geriatrics and Extended Care (GEC) Service is a registered professional nurse who is accountable for the oversight of patient care that is referred to the Purchased Home Care Program and to coordinate care for Veterans requesting or referred for purchased home care (e.g. home health, hospice, home health aide, etc.) in the community. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402
