Registered Nurse - Multidrug Resistance Organism Coordinator
The Registered Nurse - Multidrug Resistance Organism (MDRO) Coordinator is responsible for overall implementation of the MDRO and methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) program at the Tomah VAMC. This nurse ensures VHA Directive 2010-006 MRSA Prevention Initiative and other MDRO and/or MRSA guidelines are implemented in a safe and effective manner. This also includes the epidemiologically significant organism Clostridium difficile (C Diff). Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
