The Primary Purpose of the Position is to function in an administrative and clinical capacity. The Nurse Practitioner functions in an independent clinical capacity providing direct patient care. The clinical components include assessing, diagnosing, planning and prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of health problems, health promotion and preventive care, and case management. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
