Senior Pharmacy Technician - IV
Job DescriptionPartner with function supervisor to coordinate workflow for assigned functions that prepare and process medications. Also may prepare medications by measure, mix, count out, label and record amounts and dosages of IV or highly regulated medications according to prescription orders following Long Term Care Pharmacy policies, regulations and procedures. May have responsibility for compliance functions. Assist with workflow coordination. Act as mentor to new hires and other pharmacy technicians. Assist in training new hires and cross training Pharmacy Technicians. May assist with lead/management responsibilities Ensure and maintain a safe and clean work environment Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies.
