Sr Pharmacy Technician - Customer Service - $1500 Sign On Bonus

Job Description Sign On Bonus: Cash referral $1000 in lieu of VIA referral. $500 at time of referral hire Remainder $500 after new hire has completed 90 days (internal candidates only).
$1500.00 Sign-On Bonus $750.00 after 30 successful days Remainder $750.00 after 6 months with successful performance
Partner with function supervisor to coordinate workflow for assigned functions that prepare and process medications. Also may prepare and process medications through actions that may entail data entry, and/or resolving customer service issues and/or processing medication through the automation equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Assist with workflow coordination.
Act as mentor to new hires and other pharmacy technicians.
Assist in training new hires and cross training Pharmacy Technicians.
May assist with lead/management responsibilities
Ensure and maintain a safe and clean work environment
Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
1 year previous experience as a pharmacy technician or Long term care pharmacy experience preferred or
1 year data entry experience or
1 year of customer service experience or
1 year of machine equipment experience

Must understand basic pharmacology; abbreviations, brand and generic comparisons in order to interpret prescriptions for filling.

Education Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
