The Clinical Pharmacist is a licensed professional with knowledge and proficiency in pharmacy practice including pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and pharmacotherapeutics. S/he is responsible for analyzing real and potential drug-related medical problems and implementing corrective action to ensure that patients receive optimal drug therapy. S/he also applies standards relating to all aspects of distribution and control of scheduled and non-scheduled drugs. The major duties of a Clinical Pharmacist include, but are not limited to, the following: Required to work in climate controlled pharmacy drive-thru tent. Provides curbside pharmacy service for veterans picking up medications. May be required to travel across the Hampton healthcare system to staff COVID vaccine clinic
