We are seeking an intern to work with the CORE Regionalteam on research projects related to HTA systems change and the impact these changes have on our cost effectiveness and budget impact model adaptation requirements globally.
The candidate for this internship program would be responsible to work with internal stakeholders and external subject matter experts to clarify the impact of HTA developments across vastly different healthcare systems (EU HTA unification, China's HTA processes and outcomes, Korea's use of Real World Evidence for HTA reviews, Greece's new application of HTA).
Working with Merck's HTA Council and extended community, the incumbent intern would be responsible to develop a systematic communication mechanism that captures the key points of comparison and standards that can be comprehensively utilized in building an HTA strategy.

Required Education and Experience:
Candidates must be currently pursuing a master’s or Ph.D. degree in health economics, health services research, public health, healthcare policy and related fields, or a PharmD degree.
Candidates must be able to work full-time for up to (12) weeks beginning in May or June of 2020.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Candidates should have leadership skills with ability to work in high performance teams and/or matrix organization.
Candidates should have a working knowledge of Health Technology Assessment processes and an interest in global, comparative research.
Candidates should have proficiency in Excel, Word, Office 365 and PowerPoint applications.
