The Pharmaceutical Outcomes & Policy Department invites applications for two full-time tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The department’s focus in research and graduate training center on the evaluation of drugs and related medical technology. This focus includes classic pharmacoepidemiologic work in drug safety and comparative effectiveness, pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research, as well as pharmaceutical health services research.
The successful candidates will engage in productive interdisciplinary research and have a federally-funded research program, provide high-quality teaching, and participate in service activities at various levels.
The College of Pharmacy ranks among the top ten colleges of pharmacy in the nation, is located at the main campus of the University of Florida, the flagship AAU institution of the State of Florida. The College is based in one of the largest integrated academic health centers in the country, with Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Public Health and Health Professions, and Veterinary Medicine, as well as UF Health and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, situated on a campus serving over 50,000 students. The growing department consists of 10 full-time faculty in addition to affiliated faculty. It has an internationally recognized residential graduate program with about 30 PhD students and a growing online MS program with 150+ students
