The Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Rhode Island seeks to hire a full-time lecturer with demonstrated teaching experience in the field of health outcomes data science for the Fall of 2018. This is a one-year position with anticipated renewal.
Deliver courses/lectures and supervised training to undergraduate, graduate, and Doctor of Pharmacy students and faculty in programming, management, and analysis of health databases and health informatics. Oversee data servers and database management of health databases used for training students and faculty in data science methods and techniques. Implement regulatory policies and requirements related to the use of health databases. Collaborate with faculty in the design, creation, and analysis of project-specific databases, analyses, and grant submissions.
